Gassama scores in Kelantan’s defeat in Malaysian league

Gambian striker, Alfusainey Gassama scored a nice goal from the spot for his Malaysian second division side Kelantan United in their 2-1 away lost to Sarawak United in their week-eight fixtures of the Malaysian Second Division League (Premier League) played at the Stadium Negeri on Friday.

The 25-year-old scored the only goal for his side after converting a spot kick for Kelantan.

The defeat has made it four consecutive lost for Alfusainey and his side Kelantan United in the Malaysian league after eight matches.

Former Hawks FC player, Gassama, who is the leading goal-scorer for his side, has scored four goals so far this season.

The latest defeat saw Kelantan United slipped to eighth position on the table with nine points, one point above Sarawak United who sits ninth position with eight points after eight games.
