They secured 12 medals 3 (Gold, 5 Silver, 4 Bronze),
The team will arrive in Dakar, Senegal, today, Thursday, 7th August 2025 at 1:00 a.m.
From Dakar, the team will proceed to The Gambia by road.
They are set to arrive at the Barra Ferry Terminal at midday.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports, GNOC and relevant stakeholders are coordinating the team’s safe return home.
They encouraged the public to come out and give young champions a warm welcome.
President of Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC), Bai Dodou Jallow, congratulated the Gambian team for qualifying for the 2025 FIVB U18 Beach Volleyball World Championship to be hosted in Doha, Qatar.
Jallow thanked young Team Gambia for their amazing achievement.
