Kifa Barham as he is widely known bagged the certificate after completing the 6 months programme.
The course modules included, Sports First Aid, Sports Finance, Children Save Guarding, Laws of the Game, Sports Administration, Contract Negotiation, and Branding and Marketing Segmentation.
The course was also aimed at equipping participants with knowledge and understanding of the sport industry, transfer market skills, communication and public relation in football business management, sports marketing, facility management, athletes’ career management, and sporting organisation.
The journalist and football club manager, said his goal was to give back to his country and work effectively with all stakeholders in the sporting industry especially football.
To support implement projects especially at grassroots level, conduct trainings in the following professional areas and create the room for improvement for clubs and athletes career.
The Chief Executive Officer of Dolphin Stars FC also said that he aims to share the skill set gained in order to professionalise our football industry and create the parachute avenue for athletes to benefit and participate in the international football arena.
Kifa, who is also a member of Africa Sports Agency (ASA), a group of young potential sport stakeholders within the continent established to support and promote African football to the wider world through organising trainings and development programmes for athletes and marketing platform through digital media networks, noted that he plans to register the agency in The Gambia soon.
“I am an agent of change and I’m willing to work with everyone for the interest of The Gambia,” he stated.
