Minister of Youth and Sports, Bakary Y. Badjie, over the weekend discussed technical partnership with First Minister of Wales Rhun ap lorwerth.

The duo discussed technical partnership on key areas.

The Gambia High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (UK), Fatou Bensouda spoke about Gambian community in Wales, especially in Cardiff.

Bensouda described his countrymen as hardworking, peaceful and positive people.

She disclosed the Mission's active search for an honorary consul presenting The Gambia in Wales to further strengthen the bilateral relations and support Gambians in that nation.

The Welsh First Minister, Rhun ap lorwerth, acknowledged the cordial relationship between the Gambian community in Wales and the local communities.
