Ebrima Jatta and Ebrima MS Jarju from The Gambia Pentathlon Federation will represent the Gambia in the championship due to take place from 29th August to 2nd September 2023. The two selected athletes are from the Gambia Armed Forces.
The Championship serves as a qualifier for the coming 2024 Olympic Games to be held in Paris, France.
The delegation will be led by the President of the Gambia Pentathlon Federation Saikou B. Jarju. The delegation is expected back home on 03rd September 2023.
The Gambia Modern Pentathlon Federation in collaboration with National Inter-Departmental Sports Association (NISA) will airlift the two athletes to take part in the championship.
