Gambia U-17 resume training as WAFU Zone A U-17 tourney looms

The Gambia U-17 team yesterday, Tuesday, 1st October 2024 resumed training at the National Technical Training Centre in Old Yundum, as the 2024 WAFU Zone A F U17 football tournament draws nearer.

The Baby Scorpions resumed intensive training after observing their weekend break.

The 2024 WAFU Zone A U-17 football tournament is set to begin on 20th October 2024 and finish on 3rd November 2024.

The Gambia U-17 team led by Assistant Coach Lamin Sanneh continued its technical preparations ahead of the sub-regional cadet biggest football fiesta.

It could be recalled that the Baby Scorpions won the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations trophy twice in 2005 and 2009 respectively.
