Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter has called on football fans to boycott 2026 FIFA World Cup matches in the United States, citing the conduct of President Donald Trump and his administration at home and abroad.

Blatter said supporters should avoid travelling to the U.S and instead follow the tournament elsewhere.

He criticised U.S policies ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

The global biggest football showpiece will be co-hosted by the United States of America (USA), Canada and Mexico.

The 2026 World Cup is expected to start on 11th June 2026 and finish on 19th July 2026.
