Darboe who plays for the “Gillarossi” Primavera team was one of the top players in the youth league opening day as his side defeated Ascoli by three goals to two.
The 19-year-old is ready to make his mark in the senior team and wants to grab every opportunity which comes with open arms.
“I have to prove myself that I am ready; I want to make my debut. I can’t wait no longer,” Darboe emphasized.
“It was important for us to start the league with a win. It makes it easier to prepare for the second game at home”.
“Our objective this year is to win a trophy and we are working very hard for it,” he added.
Darboe was named in last season’s match day squad for the home game against AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico but remained on the bench as an unused substitute.
He is widely considered as one of the top prospects in the AS Roma Primavera squad.
