Jammeh’s career reflects a rare combination of academic achievement, military distinction, and sporting pedigree.
A former player for the Gambia men’s national football team, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of The Gambia.
Colonel Jammeh currently serves as Director of Finance at the Gambia Armed Forces.
His academic journey continued with a Master of Science in Defence and International Politics from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, in affiliation with the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College.
Colonel Jammeh has also completed all requisite professional military courses commensurate with his rank.
