Coach Mckinstry names squad ahead of Madagascar battle

Head Coach of The Gambia senior national team, Jonathan Mckinstry, has named a strong twenty-three (23) man squad ahead of his side’s 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against Madagascar on 11th October 2024.

Coach Mckinstry named his squad during a press conference held at the Football House in Kanifing yesterday.

He revealed that his side numerous created goal chances during their qualifier match against Tunisia but were not clinical in front of goal.

Coach Mckinstry assured fans and The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) that he would do everything possible to beat Madagascar to clasp the significant three points.

He stated that Hamza Barry and Alasanna Jatta and Ebrima Colley are all set to miss the Madagascar clash due to injuries.
