Cameroon have long been a permanent fixture on Africa’s football stage, renowned for their relentless fighting spirit.

With a rich history filled with iconic moments and an impressive trophy cabinet.

The Indomitable Lions are among the continent’s true giants. Yet their journey has been one of highs and lows: glorious triumphs followed by painful disappointments.

What sets them apart, however, is their resilience.

The ability to bounce back and rise again.

Under the guidance of a new head coach and with a squad brimming with talent, Cameroon head into AFCON 2025 ready to write a new chapter in their quest for success and redemption.

Cameroon has been drawn into Group F, along side Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon and Mozambique. Below is their full group stage schedule, including dates, times and venues. So you know exactly when to follow the Indomitable Lions.

Belgian coach Marc Brys took charge in April 2024, succeeding Rigobert Song after a disappointing AFCON 2025 campaign in Ivory Coast. Despite inheriting a difficult situation, Brys has quickly made his mark.

“My goal is to give the players confidence, encourage responsibility and allow them freedom within a clear framework,” explained the 62-year-old coach.

“They must show courage on the pitch and keep developing themselves. What makes this group special is that everyone commits to the collective.”
