BST Galaxy 2024\2025 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League title chase have suffered a massive blow after losing to Bombada 1-0 in their week-eleven fixture played at the Brikama Box Mini Stadium on Sunday.

The BST Galaxy boys were contending Real de Banjul for the country’s Elite League trophy this season before locking horns with Bombada, who were scuffling for survival in the First Division League.

Coach Malang Yaffa and his BST Galaxy charges were committed to defeat Bombada to close gap after Real de Banjul slipped to Brikama United 1-0 at the Live Your Dreams Sports Academy Complex in Basori on Saturday.

BST Galaxy fought tooth and nail to stun Bombada to close gap on Real de Banjul but slipped to Bombada one zero.

Musa Jarju’s 41st minute strike was all but enough to earn Bombada a narrow 1-0 victory over BST Galaxy.

The BST Galaxy boys now occupy sixth-place on the country’s Elite League table with 17 points after eleven league matches.

Bombada sit seventh-place on the First Division League table with 16 points in eleven fixtures.
