Banjul Sports Committee has applauded Chairman of QGroup Muhammed Jah for onstructing a 500 seater pavilion at the Jamaica end of the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Jah whose company started at Hill Street/Dobson about 300 meters away from the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium (KG5) is not just a native of Banjul  but the first person ever to build a pavilion at Jamaica end which has always been a challenge for the Sports Committee, thanks to his  90% contribution of completion of the project.

Jah visited KG5 Mini Stadium and assured Banjul Sports Committee that he would would build a pavilion at the capital biggest football arena.

He promised to do more to improve other facilities at KG5 Mini Stadium.

All football enthusiasts who regularly come to watch football at the KG5 have been lamenting the need for a pavilion at Jamaica end  which accommodates most people during games.

Fans had faced difficulties at the area particularly when it rains but all that will now be history thanks to his magnanimity from QGroup Chairman Muhammed Jah.

The QGroup boss is the first Gambian to invest in a multi million dollar facility in all sports at QCity.

Jah has immensely contributed in almost every sector of development in this country.

He is arguably one of the most recognized, admired and appreciated homegrown entrepreneurs since we became a republic.

Banjul Sports Committee has recognised the contributions of Amie Sise, Marketing Manager of QCell and Omar Gaye, Director of Gamworks who both played a crucial role in this project.

BSC thanked Muhammed Jah for his timely intervention and magnanimity.
