Berewuleng bow to Aigles de Medina in WAFU Zone A CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers icebreaker

Berewuleng FC on Friday lost to the host Aigles De Medina 2-1 in their maiden opening match of the  WAFU Zone A CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers played at the Annexe Stade Aboulaye Wade on Friday.

Both teams defended very well and crafted goal scoring opportunities.

Aigles de Medina took the lead through Ndey Awa Casset in the 40th minute of the match after capitalising on Berewuleng FC's defensive blunder thus the first half ended 1-0 infavour of  Aigles De Medina.

Aissatou Chris Ba  extended Augles de Medina's lead in the 61th minute of the match.

Berewuleng FC fought hard for an equaliser and created goal scoring opportunities.

 Mariama Cham pulled back one goal for Berewuleng FC in the 78 thminute of the match from the penalty spot, which eventually proved to be a consolation for them.

 Berewuleng FC will play against Sierra Leonean giants Ram Kamara in their second qualifier match today, Monday, 11th August 2025 at Annexe Stade Aboulaye Wade at 4pm.
