All eyes on Gambia Gov't and Agib Bank solidary match

 In a unique display of partnership and sportsmanship, The Gambia Government will play against Agib Bank in a solidarity match on 8th May 2026 at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium at 5.30pm.

The encounter will bring together influential leaders from  financial and policy-making sectors.

Muhammed Jah is the head coach of The bankers.

Government team is under the ultimate patronage of His Excellency the President Barrow, who has officially delegated the coaching and leadership responsibilities to two key cabinet members, Minister of Youth and Sports and Minister of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology.

The Solidarity Game serves as a platform to foster a closer working relationship between government and private sector.

The match will highlight the importance of collaboration in driving national development, using the universal language of football to build bridges and encourage open dialogue.
