1st Division: GPA convalesce, as Real de Banjul maintain winning string

The Gambia Ports Authority have recovered, while Real de Banjul maintained their winning string in the 2025\2026 Vista Bank-Baluwo-sponsored Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League.

The Ferry Boys bounced back in  the country's Elite League after beating Bombada 1-0 in their week-11 fixture played at the Bakau Mini Stadium on Saturday.

The Gambia Ports Authority lost to Hart FC 3-2 before locking horns with Bombada, who defeated Hawks 4-3.

The Ferry Boys scuffled to beat Bombada to maintain top-spot on the country's Elite League table.

The Gambia Ports Authority scored one goal in the dying minute of the match to snatch a hard-fought win over Bombada.

Bombada strived for an equaliser but were unable to unlock The Gambia Ports Authority's solid defence line thus the match ended 1-0 in favour of the Ferry Boys.

The GPA still lead the First Division League table with 22 points after eleven league matches.

Bombada occupy fourth-place on the country's Elite League table with 17 points in eleven league outings.

Meanwhile, Real de Banjul have maintained their winning form in the First Division League after thrashing BST Galaxy 3-1 at the Live Dreams Sports Academy Complex in Basori on Saturday.

The win has earned Real de Banjul sixth-place on the country's Elite League table with 16 points.

BST Galaxy sit eighth-place on the First Division League table with 14 points after eleven league matches.
