At the meeting, Saikou Fatty, legal adviser for the association, explained some of the basic rules governing the association.
"The rules and regulations guiding the association state that every member most have a membership card, election for executive members is held every five years, no executive member serves for more than two terms."
Mr Fatty reminded that no member of the committee should also be involved in any criminal activities, tribalism, gender inequality and or political activities.
He stated that over the years, the association has snupported natives of the district by building a hospital and schools for them, fenced their garden, provided access to clean drinking water to them and also assisted disaster victims.
Kebba Singhateh, financial adviser to the WEDA, said the association has been involved in numerous works notably: road rehabilitations, tree planting, construction of a house for PIU officers at Makka Mastering, among other activities.
Those activities, he added, are meant to bring development to the district.
Hon. Saidya Jatta, former National Assembly Member of Wuli West described the initiative as very important for the people of Wuli, adding that it helps to bring development to the people of the district.
