The four-day forum which began last Friday will end today, Monday 18th September 2023. The forum was centered on heath, finance, education and other relevant social sector ministers (by invitation on) from Africa, Asia and Latin America with the goal of enhancing ministerial leadership and promoting cross-sectorial collaboration in prioritizing human development investment goals for substantial economic growth.
The forum is a flagship program launched in 2012. The program is a joint initiative of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
The forum is being attended by ministers from various counties which include Barbados, Central African Republic, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Jamaica, Kenya, Malawi, Philippines, Rwanda, Togo, Zambia, among others.
Minister Gomez and his counterparts thanked Harvard University and the US Embassy in Banjul for fully funding the program and availing them the vital learning opportunity and recognition.
