
This initiative by the Think tank stems from a fruitful discussion held on 6 March by Peace Network and executives of the Education Students Association (EDUSA) under the leadership of vice president, Ebrima H. Secka and secretary general, Mamadou Sanu Jallow.
At the said meeting, one of a broader campaigns by EDUSA to revitalise and strengthen long existing mutually-befitting relations with partners and also forge new ones, was initiated by the student leaders to secure valuable opportunities for EDUSAns.
Henceforth, the Peace Network have agreed to offer training in peace and conflict resolution to the association's members.
Furthermore, the Peace Network has also pledged to support EDUSA activities including EDUSA Week and the nationwide tour by providing facilitators and other forms of assistance.
In this light, the peace association extended gratitude to their new partners for their willingness to partner with them in a broader drive to ensure a better Gambia.
