NAFA signs Bright Stars as brand ambassadors

Nafa Financial Services on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bright Stars Entertainment as its brand ambassadors.

 

Nafa as widely referred to is a prominent and one of the leading Gambian Remittance Companies, with subsidiaries in Senegal, Mali, Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone and Liberia.

Yabou, thus, called on all to embrace Nafa products and services as it is Gambian thing to ensure the rising Gambian stars to promote Nafa’s products and services.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Halimatou Jallow, chief executive officer of Nafa Financial Services, recalled that the company started as a bureau with four employees and now has evolved into a fully-fledged MTO with over forty employees.

“We are the fastest growing registered Gambian MTO with an extensive payout network. Nafa is continuously innovating channels to satisfy its customers’ needs. We have established a family relation without customers to ensure that we understand their needs and worries.”

CEO Jallow underscored her institution’s commitment to ensure that remittances reach their beneficiaries on time without any hassle,

“As a result of this, Nafa has developed the ‘My Nafa Wallet’ which allows customers and the unbanked population to receive and send money across Africa, electronic payment for goods and services.”

Nafa’s work force, she added, is built with young Gambians thereby creating employment for new graduates and contributing to the national development.

“I am proud to say that Nafa has a dedicated workforce that has played a huge role in the growth of the company over the year.”

CEO Jallow described Bright Stars as a talented group that has exhibited professionalism in their line of work.

Pa Modou Yaffa, a member of Bright Stars Entertainment Company Ltd, expressed delight to be associated with the development.

“Today, we are really happy because it takes one to be intelligent, smart, discipline and visionary to become an ambassador for. These are some the qualities that they look in for ambassadors.”

He spoke on their readiness to promote the institution to another height with their vibrant and entertaining platforms, acknowledging that the institution has been in existence for a while, but that this new partnership will now boost Nafa’s products and services in-country and beyond.

Ebrima Jammeh head of Business Management at Nafa Financial Services, described the event as historic, adding that the institution is now internationally recognised.

Nafa, he added, is a Gambian-owned company sending monies to sixteen African countries and as well receiving transfers from all over America, Europe and South America.

“We are highly honoured to be in partnership with a fast-growing entertainment group in Bright Stars Entertainment.”

 The event was wrapped-up with a spectacular performance by the entertainment group.
