Meet Aminata Coker, an emerging youth entrepreneur

Aminata Coker is an emerging Gambian youth entrepreneur who founded Haimina Essentials and more Healthy Beauty Brand. The brand was founded by her in August 2020.

Born and raised in Banjul, Coker is a Laboratory Technician at Pakala clinic.

She graduated from Glory Baptise Junior and Senior Secondary School and is currently pursuing a degree in political science at the University of The Gambia.

She stated that Hasmina Essentials and more Healthy Beauty Brand is a Gambian owned health and beauty company that produces and sells a variety of essentials items which includes personal care production, household and everyday essentials.

Coker noted that she is inspired by the need of living a healthier lifestyle due to the many illnesses that affects Gambian.

“We also offer powdered products that can be consumed or used topically. These products include Maringa, Neem, Turmeric, orange peel which are good for human health”, she said.

Cooker highlighted that her products are all natural, locally sourced with zero preservatives which comes directly from Mother Nature. She said they control various ailments like diabetes, high blood pressure, skin infection, and malnutrition.

She advised her fellow youth to believe that they can do and achieve anything in this world.
