At the signing ceremony, Christopher Mendy, alias Chris Black, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of GMB Promotion, commended the two artistes for agreeing to sign this contract agreement.
The Gambian promoter described the newly signed artistes as skillful, creative and talented with endless opportunity to thrive in the world of music, calling on them to see the new opportunity as a steeping stone to greater things in their respective careers.
“MB Vision, in partnership with GMB Promotion, is for serious-minded, focused creatives. This contract will offer the support needed for Assan Gaye and Meeky Meek to thrive,” he said.
He praised the two artistes and said the new deal marks a new beginning for the duo, as they look up to the future.
Chris Black also fondly called spoke about their resolve to support young talents in the country, promising that it is time to give back to the country.
Ousman M.B. Krubally, also known as Ozzy, and CEO of MB Vision, spoke about successes achieved in the past, promising to even do more in their broader quest to promote Gambian talent on major platforms.
He thus welcomed their new signings to their growing group, expressing their openness to another emerging young artistes who want visibility.
Assan Gaye, one of the newly signed artistes, while expressing delight with the move, spoke of his resolve to deliver as expected.
The artist, who also performs with a band, described the move as another chapter in his career, calling on his fans to look out for new releases from him.
The other newly signed artiset, Meeky Meek expressed similar sentiments. He commended MB Vision for move and for giving them another opportunity in their music career.
