The GPF has also observed that, following the recent incident in Mandinary, certain media outlets and individuals have increasingly circulated videos of alleged misconduct by police officers, often without context, with the apparent intention of tarnishing the image of the Force. While freedom of expression is respected, the Police urge the public and media actors to seek clarification from the Public Relations Office before drawing conclusions, so that accurate information and the actions taken can be communicated.
The GPF reiterates commitment to professionalism, accountability, and respect for the rule of law, and continues to work towards building trust and strengthening the relationship between the Police and the public.
