In a move to foster unity, peace and co-existence among African countries, the Global Chart Africa was officially launched at a ceremony held at Nyorro Tukulor, Upper Saloum District.

At the event, Alagie Abdoulie Njie, Alkalo of the village, described the event as a laudable move, saying the organisation would henceforth serve as a unifying organisation, bringing people from different parts of Africa.

‘As the alkalo of the village, I am more than willing to collaborate and work with the organization.’

Mr. Bubacarr Njie, secretary general of the organisation highlighted the significance of forming such an organisation especially in fostering unity and collaboration among African countries.

‘To sensitize people about the importance of youths’ participation in decision making and good governance’

He noted that the organisation would also help to sensitise youth about the bad effects of tribalism and disunity, while fostering community development.

The organisation, he added, is non-political and non-tribal based organisations as every genuine citizen is welcome regardless background, tribe and race.

He thus called on the government, philanthropist and NGO's to support the organisation.

Aboulie Njie, a member of the organisation from Senegal also echoed similar sentiments, highlighting that the organisation is open to all who wish to join regardless of tribe or age.
