The program seeks to facilitate communication between deaf children and their family members.
Classes are conducted for one group on Wednesday and Saturdays (9am to 12noon) while the other group have their classes on Mondays and Thursdays (1pm to 4:30pm) at the association’s Kanifing Industrial Layout office.
According to the association, transport allowance of D200 is paid to each parent for each class attended.
The association therefore urges parents with hard of hearing children to register their children for the program.
