Born Michael Schuessler, professionally known as Fire Myke and widely recognized by his Swahili moniker Mzungu Mjanja, is a dynamic Reggae, Dancehall, and Afrobeat artist operating between Germany and Kenya.
He began his musical journey in 2003 as a soundman, founding Firewheel Sound, a sound system that toured extensively across Europe, Jamaica, and Kenya. Deeply immersed in authentic sound system culture from the ground up, this early foundation profoundly shaped his musical direction, global outlook, and performance style.
Building on this momentum, he later established Firewheel Records, releasing multiple riddim compilations and singles featuring international artists.
In 2018, Fire Myke officially launched his career as a recording artist in Kenya with his debut single “Mzungu Mjanja.” The accompanying music video received television airplay across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, marking a major breakthrough and firmly establishing his presence in the East African music scene.
