The Permanent Secretary (PS) of the Civil Service Reform and Planning Unit (CSRPU) under the Ministry of Public Service (MoPS) has described the just concluded National Policy Formulation Handbook 2025 a success.

Sheriff Jallow was speaking on Wednesday March 11, 2025 at Sindola Safari Hotel, Kanilai, as he presided over the closing of a three-day validation workshop of the Handbook on behalf of his minister.

“It was one of the highest qualities when it comes to both attendance and participation during the session.”

PS Jallow also revealed that National Policy Formulation Handbook 2025 was prepared by the Ministry of Public Service through Department of Strategic Policy and Delivery (DSPD) but meant for all Government institutions.

Individually, he said, they are all important, but what they can do collectively will be more meaningful in view of the fact that they share the same objectives which is to serve citizens and to ensure the services they deliver to them (citizens) are of the highest quality.

“If the document is approved at the level of the cabinet, you should serve as champion of its implementation within your sectors because you know what the document entails and what it can do for us as a country.”

He finally called on the participants to do further research on the document, adding that ‘if they come across anything important in the document,’ they can reach out to the Ministry for further clarification.
