The recognition came during the official launch of 360Pluz Media and its Network Awards, led by Chief Executive Officer Yusupha Jatta.
Mr Drammeh was celebrated for his tireless efforts to improve the lives of physically challenged people across the country and neighbouring countries through his foundation. A passionate advocate, he has consistently volunteered with organisations such as 360Pluz, supporting people with complex needs and contributing to major events aimed at inclusion and empowerment.
Reacting to the latest award, Mr Drammeh expressed his gratitude, saying: “I am really excited and honoured to be recognised and to be part of a great organisation like 360Pluz Media.”
He further praised CEO Yusupha Jatta for his unwavering support in championing disability rights, noting: “It feels like together we have really made a difference.”
Mr Drammeh highlighted his commitment to ensuring that the voices of physically challenged people are heard by decision-makers and policymakers. He emphasised that his advocacy is deeply personal, saying: “My advocacy means a lot to me and I hope I can help improve our society for disabled people like me.”
He extended heartfelt thanks to his parents for their support, and to Yusupha Jatta for the recognition. He also acknowledged his international partners, including Krish Roopnarine and family in Canada, Mr Lamin Conteh and family, as well as his dedicated team, executives, volunteers, supporters, and the foundation’s Goodwill Ambassadors across the country.
The award underscores Mr Drammeh’s significant role in advancing social justice and disability rights, marking him as a leading voice for inclusion and empowerment in The Gambia and beyond.
