The task to the management came after the Ministry became aware of the trending social media allegations of some UTG staff members tampering with the students’ grades without authorisation.
In a recent press release, the Ministry appeals to the general public, especially the university community, to exercise patience until the Governing Council presents their verdict.
Whilst the Ministry assures the general public that it “will continue to protect the integrity and sanctity” of the University of The Gambia in the interest of the common good, its release added that the UTG is a national asset and its image and reputation must be cherished at all time.
