Gambia confirms 2 new covid-19 cases

The Gambia has confirmed two more cases of covid-19, health officials told The Point yesterday.
The Senegalese Ministry of Health yesterday reported 104 positive cases of covid-19, making a total of 1,433; 493 treated, 12 deaths and 927 under treatment.

Senegalese Ministry of Health yesterday confirmed 110 cases of covid-19, bringing the country’s total infection to 2105; 22 deaths, 782 recoveries and 1301 under treatment.
On 12 January 2021, Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis, as vice president of the Federal Council, and Federal Councillor Karin Keller-Sutter signed two cooperation agreements – on civil aviation and on migration – during the official visit to Bern by a delegation from the Republic of The Gambia, headed by Vice President Isatou Touray. The agreement on migration allows Switzerland and The Gambia to strengthen their respective efforts in fighting illegal migration.
The country has registered 35 new coronavirus confirmed cases with no death, bringing the total of country’s infections 2,743.
