President Barrow declares Mon 26 Dec public holiday

H.E. President Adama Barrow, GRMG, acting in accordance with Section 76(1) of the 1997 Constitution of the Republic of The Gambia, is pleased to declare Monday 26th December 2022, a public holiday in observance of Christmas.

 

 

 

Similarly, Monday, 1st January 2023, has been declared a public holiday throughout The Gambia to mark the beginning of the Year 2023. 

President Barrow wishes the Christian community Merry Christmas and Gambians at large a happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year on behalf of the Government and the People of The Gambia.
