The Session, convened under the auspices of the ECOWAS Commission, brought together Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence from across the region to deliberate on key political and security developments affecting Member States.
Minister Sering Modou Njie reaffirmed The Gambiaโs strong commitment to democracy and constitutional order, transitional justice and accountability, regional peace and counterterrorism, as well as deeper ECOWAS integration.
He also welcomed ongoing ECOWAS efforts to strengthen regional security and democratic governance, underscoring The Gambiaโs continued commitment to a peaceful, secure, and united ECOWAS Community.
