High Commissioner Sidibeh presents Letters of Credence to Burkina Faso President Kaboré

The High Commissioner and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of The Gambia to the Republics of Mali and Burkina Faso with residence in Dakar, His Excellency Hadrammeh Musa Sidibeh, on Tuesday January 11, 2022 presented his Letters of Credence to the President of Burkina Faso, His Excellency Roch Marc Christian Kaboré at the Presidency.

Following presentation of his Letters of credence, High Commissioner Sidibeh conveyed fraternal best wishes from the President of the Republic of The Gambia, His Excellency Adama Barrow to the Burkinabé President, His Excellency Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, the Government and the people of Burkina Faso.

During the diplomatic engagement, His Excellency President Kaboré and High Commissioner Sidibeh expressed, respectively, the common interest of developing national economies by improving good neighbourliness, friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, not only to serve shared interests of the two countries but also enabling peace, stability, development of the Gambia, Burkina Faso and the entire sub-region.

For his part, President Kaboré felicitated President Adama Barrow on his landslide victory and wished him a successful mandate. He also congratulated High Commissioner Sidibeh on his appointment, and assured him of the support of his government and the people of Burkina Faso.
