He was arrested at Brusubi Phase Two (2).
The suspect upon his encounter with the operatives tried to run away. He slipped on a broken tile injuring himself in the process, according reports. He was taken to Sukuta Health Centre where he received medical treatment and was subsequently discharged.
In a similar but separate development, one Samba Camara, a 26-year-old Gambian and a resident was clutched in Bullock Forest on 7 January 2022 with two big bundles and one parcel of suspected cannabis sativa.
The suspected cannabis sativa were wrapped with cement papers and concealed in an empty 20 litres gallon. The said gallon was cut at the bottom to conceal the said cannabis thereby disguising it as oil. The means of conveyance was a black pedal cycle.
