Ousman Saidybah, the spokesperson of the DLEAG who was contacted for comments, confirmed the development, saying: “The suspect Ibrahim Cissokho, a 31-year-old Senegalese is said to be a driver by occupation and a resident of Dakar.”
“The suspect wrapped the said controlled drugs in a transparent nylon bag and placed it in his underwear,” Saidybah said, adding that he was taken to custody while operatives further probed the matter.
“We use this opportunity to call on the public to remain alert, vigilant and report suspicious drugs and criminal related activities to law enforcement entities.
