His return marks a significant strengthening of the Armed Forces’ public communication machinery at a time when strategic messaging is increasingly vital. Until his appointment, Colonel Sanyang was enrolled at the Royal College of Higher Military Education (CREMS) in Morocco, where he earned a Master’s Degree in National Defence.
His academic credentials are formidable: a BSc in Automation and Computer‑Integrated Systems from Ukraine, an Associate Degree in Avionics from the United States, and a Master’s in Leadership and Defence Studies from Nigeria.
He has also undertaken Staff Officer Courses and attended the prestigious Emerging Security Sector Leaders Seminar at the Africa Center for Strategic Studies in Washington D.C. Colonel Sanyang succeeds Major Malick Sanyang, who is currently pursuing a GAF‑approved course in Nigeria.
