Change Front political movement appoints spokesperson

Mr. Hatab Jaiteh has been officially appointed spokesperson of The Change Front (CF) political movement, the movement has announced.

Mr. Jaiteh holds a certificate in Information Technology, certificate in Mass Communication and a BSc in Biochemistry at the University of The Gambia.

He has 10 years work experience at Glory Baptist, Gambia Senior Secondary School and West Africa International School.

In 2018, GYIN Gambia awarded him winner of Young Agribusiness of the year. He has personal interest in environmental activities, community and social development activities.

The Change Front (CF) is a political organisation that aims to promote good governance; democracy; rule of law; freedom of expression; foster social cohesion; promote economic transformation and promote professionalism in all sectors.

The movement is also geared towards bringing social development to the doorsteps of all Gambians, regardless of geographical location, ethnic, religious and political differences.

“The leadership of CF has the same political doctrine, and vision with Mr. Jaiteh; therefore, we deem it necessary to appoint him spokesperson of the movement,” said Sulayman Waan, secretary general and leader of the CF movement.

 Presidential aspirant, Waan, described Jaiteh as competent and reliable person, noting that Mr. Jaiteh will be a consistent mouthpiece to the political movement.

“No doubt, he will provide the needed information to the public, timely and boost the movement’s visibility,” Waan added.

“We trust and have maximum confidence in him and we are one hundred percent sure that he will perform up to expectation,” he concluded.

In his reaction, Mr. Jaiteh, said: “I am deeply honored and humbled by the trust the Change Front political movement has placed in me as the newly appointed spokesperson.”

Jaiteh further acknowledged the immense responsibility that comes with being the voice of such a noble movement, adding that his goal is to ensure the movement’s message is clear, consistent and reaches every Gambian both home and abroad.

“I am committed to working tirelessly to advance our shared vision for the future,” he said.

Meanwhile, Jaiteh who is a resident of Kartong village in Kombo South District, West Coast Region (WCR) also serves as the current spokesperson for Kartong Village Development Committee (VDC).

He said that his primary duty as the spokesperson of the movement is to be authentic, consistent, and credible voice of the Change Front political movement.

“I shall be the link between the leadership, the members, stakeholders, and the general public to ensure everyone understands the movement's mission, vision and goals,” he assured.
