Barrow leaves for Liberia today

State House, Banjul, 13th February 2022: The Office of the President hereby informs the public that H.E. Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia, will travel to the Republic of Liberia on Monday, 14th February 2022, at 07:30 A.M.

President Barrow will attend the Official Opening Ceremony of the Republic of Liberia’s Bicentennial Commemoration, marking 200 years since the arrival of the first batch of liberated Africans from the United States to present-day Liberia, thus becoming the first Republic on the African continent.
