He was clutched on the 19 January 2022 at New Street in Banjul with four parcels, 20 wraps and some quantities of suspected cannabis sativa as well as five tablets of clonazepam
Similarly, The Kanifing Municipality Security Task Force apprehended 18-year-old Muhammed Kandeh, a Gambian, with nine parcels of suspected cannabis sativa at the Independence Stadium in Bakau. The said incident happened on the 19 January 2022. The suspected cannabis sativa were wrapped with white papers and concealed in a military-like camouflage bag.
Both suspects were handed over to DLEAG for further investigations
In a similar but separate development, DLEAG’s Sibanor Field Office nabbed one Ebrima Badjie, a 48-year-old Gambian with 10 big bundles of suspected cannabis sativa. He was clutched at Batabut Kantora Bridge on the 19 January 2022. He is also in custody for further investigations.
