One Ebrima Njie was recently brought to the corridors of justice for allegedly contravened section 252 of the criminal code.
According to the particulars of the alleged offence, the accused on 9th June 2009 at Latrikunda German stole twenty tie and dye clothing materials valued at D27, 000, being the property of Naffie Drammeh. He denied the charge.
Meanwhile, the accused was granted court bail in the sum of D30, 000 with two Gambian sureties in large sum and the sureties must also swear to an affidavit of means.
The case was presided over by Principal Magistrate Basiru Mahoney and it was adjourned to 29th June 2009.
