The Kanifing Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate Hillary U Abeke yesterday heard a criminal case of stealing brought against one Modou Gaye.
Modou Gaye who pleaded guilty to the charge was remanded in custody, pending the narration of the facts and determination of the case.
The particulars of offence indicated that the accused person, Modou Gaye, on 19th August 2010 at CFAO Motor's Company in the Kanifing Municipality stole two mobile phones marked Samsung valued at D5, 800 and Sony Ericsson double SIM valued at D4000, being the properties of Lihan Aziz and Mariatou Cham.
The trial Magistrate adjourned the case to 6th October 2010 for continuation.
