Twenty-two
year old Marie Ndow’s dream of establishing her own cosmetics brand has come to
reality when hundreds of cosmetics lovers converged at a hotel in Kololi for
the launching of Crowned Cosmetics.
“I
am more than happy and grateful today because my five years dream is finally a
reality. It was not an easy journey but
my family and I keep on pushing until we overcome all obstacles and turned the
dream to reality,” said Ms Ndow, a Gambian based in the UK, at the recent
launching of her cosmetics line.
“I
always belief in my dreams and I work hard towards making them a reality.”
She
said owning her own cosmetics brand was a dream and she has been yearning for
its fruition for so long.
Ms
Ndow, who has been working for half-a-decade to develop her own cosmetics line,
said young people should belief in themselves and go for anything they want to
be in life, despite the obstacles they might face.
Haddy
Faye, CEO of Absolute Entertainment, commended the young lady “for her amazing
and wonderful brand”.
“It
is never easy to develop a brand because of the resources and the hardship that
comes with it but despite that, she tried and fought tooth and nail to see to
it that her dream becomes a reality,” she said.
“She
never gives up in what she believes in and always goes for what she wants. She struggled for five years and worked even
harder every day to see to it that her dream those not fail.”
Lillian
Zizi, another entrepreneurial lady, also paid tribute to Ms Ndow for her
efforts in making her dream come to reality.
She
