The
2019 Yakarr Female Football Academy football festival is slated for this
Saturday, at the Sifoe football field.
The
annual carnival will bring together several football academies in Kombo South
and its environs for the daylong event.
The
academies will participate in football matches to foster unity and
understanding among female players in Kombo South and its satellite areas.
The
Sifoe based academy is currently playing their trades in the West Coast
Regional female third division league competition.
They
will be keen to win their matches in the regional third tier this season to
gain promotion to the country’s women division two league.
