Youths against Child Maltreatment, a charitable youth association, at the weekend embarked on a massive cleansing exercise at the Kombo Kerewan Market in Kombo North, West Coast Region.
The cleansing exercise attracted over 40 youths mainly members of the group, who cleaned the entire market and its environs of rubbish.

He expressed satisfaction about the work done while thanking the volunteers for their hard work and good turnout.
“We buy our foods from this market and cleaning it should be everybody’s concern and all should make sure that this market is clean and tidy all the time,” Mr Ceesay said.
Fatou Touray, an adopted sister to the youth association – YACM, expressed her joy at the initiative, saying it is a step in the right direction. She also challenged the youths to be cooperative and hardworking to realize their aims and objectives.
