The
2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) women division league season curtain
raiser; the super cup final is set for 1 December, at the Independence Stadium
in Bakau at 5pm.
Defending
league and FF cup champions Red Scorpion will take on rivals Interior in the
new league season opener, described by many as a crunch clash.
Interior
will brawl to beat Red Scorpions to win the super cup after losing to the
Jeshwang based-club 2-1in FF Cup final last season courtesy of Gambia’s goal
machine Adama Tamba and Kumba Kuyateh.
Fatou
Darboe scored Interior’s lone goal, which eventually proved to be a consolation
goal for the Police based-team.
The
final is expected to attract football enthusiasts for the most anticipated
