A woman called Anna Jatta of Sanyang village, in the West
Coast Region, was recently arraigned before Justice Emmanuel Nkea of the
Special Criminal Court, charged with murder.
According to particulars of the offence on 10 March 2013, at Sanyang village, in the West Coast Region, the accused, Anna Jatta, unlawfully caused the death of her newly-born baby by cutting the head of the baby.
She denied the charge preferred against her and was remanded in custody.
At that juncture, the case was adjourned till later date for hearing.
