The second prosecution witness (PW2), Edmon Lucky, recently testified in the trial involving one Muhammed Drammeh, who was accused of attempting to commit a felony before Magistrate Omar Jabang of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court.

Lucky told the court that she works as an automobile engineer and recognised the accused person.

She recalled that on 5 September 2014, she and her husband went to their garage at night when they saw the accused pointing a touch light from one car to the other.

Her husband came out of the car and apprehended the accused and asked him what he was doing there at that hour.

Her husband told her they have to take the accused to the police, but the accused said he was not going.

The accused then grabbed her husband’s shirt, and two men intervened and the accused was taken to Bakoteh Police Station where her statement was taken, she told the court.

The case was adjourned to 7 October 2014.
