Westwood Primary School patronizes Gunjur Lower Basic School

Westwood Primary School in the United Kingdom Wednesday donated learning and garden materials to Gunjur Lower Basic School, as part of their quest to cement the excellent relationship that exists between the two schools.

The donated items included exercise books, markers, pencils, colour pencils, watering cans, rakes, hand forks, wheelbarrows and other items.

Receiving the donated items, the headmaster of Gunjur Lower Basic School, Kebba Fatty, applauded Westwood Primary School in the United Kingdom for the tremendous and timely gesture, adding that the donated items would go a long way in complementing government efforts in quality and relevant education in the country.

Fatty stated that Westwood Primary School in the United Kingdom are real friends of Gunjur Lower Basic School, noting that the excellent relationship between the two learning institutions would go from strength to strength.

He said his school was proud to be associated with Westwood Primary in the UK.

For her part, the headmaster of Westwood Primary School in the UK, Jackie, said her school was really delighted to patronize Gunjur Lower Basic School with learning and garden materials.

Jackie expressed her school’s readiness to render support to Gunjur Lower Basic School, adding that they are planning to have exchanged visit with Gunjur Lower Basic School in the near future.
