Western Region Inter-Academy Tourney Update

KGH Sports Football Academy of Lamin Village thrashed Sukuta Academy 2-0 in the ongoing Western Region Inter-Academy Football Tourney, at FiFA Gold Project Football Field in Yundum, Kombo North on Monday 17th August 2009.

On Tuesday 18th August 2009, Santo-Su Academy of Brikama lost to Canaris Academy of Brikama 2-1, while on Sunday 16th August 2009, Dahabas Academy of Yundum defeated Beri Beri Academy Farato 2-1.

Meanwhile, in other results, Jatta's Academy of Lamin drew 1-1 with Black and White Academy of Berending, while Rufa Academy of Buwiam drew 0-0 with Sukuta Academy, and Giffa Academy beat Beri Beri Academy 1-0.

The Inter-Academy Football Tournament is organised to foster unity and understanding among Academies in the Western Region, and to also improve, develop and promote grassroots football in Western Region at Academy level.
