West Coast Region Upper Basic Inter-Schools Athletics heats tomorrow

The annual inter-school athletics championship organised by the West Coast Region Upper Basic School is billed for tomorrow at the Brikama Upper Basic School playground, Pointsport can reveal.

According to information gathered by this reporter, all the Upper Basic Schools in the region are expected to take part in this eagerly awaited athletics heats.

Gunjur Upper Basic School that has been dominating the athletics heats in the West Coast Region in the past three years might surrender their title to other schools following the departure of some key athletes who are promoted to senior secondary.

The reigning champions will face stiff competition from Jamisa and Kabafita Upper Basic Schools for the title this year.

Jamisa and Kabafita Upper Basic Schools finished second and third respectively behind Gunjur Upper Basic School last year.
